This photographer gives a new dimension to still life photography. ‘I play with flatness as a way to get the viewer to think more about the physicality of the image, but also the potential in everyday objects to be something more.’ (quoted from Print, april 2011) She collects everyday objects, pretty or tacky and combines them in constructions which results in abstract still life pictures. And even though abstract can be boring, these pictures aren’t at all.
