Blue D1653

by søt

When we think about Delft blue, we think boring and old-fashioned porcelain. Luckily, this is no longer the case. Classical Dutch porcelain house Royal Delft, created in 1653, has just launched a new contemporary line, Blue D1653. This collaboration with Arian Brekveld, Chris Koens and Damian O’Sullivan was inspired by the traditional design. Their pieces use unorthodox combinations of materials, giving it a much more contemporary feel.

Blue D1653 is a very modern and minimalistic collection, with little Delft blue details. Something we’d love to have in our kitchen!
