Clarissa Labin

Clarissa Labin is a german designer with roots in Venezuela. She studied women’s wear design at London College of Fashion. Clarissa worked for 2 years as accessories designer for Christian Dior. Later on she worked 6 years for H&M, where she designed women’s wear and was specialised in knitwear and jersey. After 12 years abroad she returned to Berlin and designd her first collection for Autumn/ Winter 2009. As you can see it’s a collection with lots of nice, detailed knitwear, which gives the outfits a nice texture. And the styling with the leather leggings and dark stockings give the outfits an edgy twist.

Clarissa Labin wants to design clothes for women who want to make a colourful fashion statement. She expiriments with textures and surfaces to create a unique look, but makes sure the outfits don’t restrict the modern woman who want’s to look chic at all times. The stylish prints and nice colour combinations enhance the bold but still feminine style.
